Three Stiebel Eltron heat pumps, two buildings and a complete plumbing package, delivered from first fix through to handover.
A newly built property in the Norfolk countryside needed a complete heating and domestic plumbing package covering both the main house and a separate garden studio. The brief called for an efficient, renewable heat source for each building, consistent underfloor heating throughout, and a full plumbing fit out to match the quality of the build.
We installed three Stiebel Eltron air source heat pumps: two serving the main house and a third dedicated to the studio, giving each building its own independent heating supply. Hot water is provided by a Stiebel Eltron cylinder in each building, sized and commissioned to suit the household and studio separately.
Around 12km of underfloor heating pipework was laid across the ground and first floors of the main house and throughout the studio. Wet underfloor heating was chosen over radiators to give consistent, even heat in every room while keeping wall space free.
Alongside the heating installation, we carried out the full first and second fix plumbing for the property: every bathroom and en suite, the utility rooms, the kitchen, and an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and bar area. From the initial pipework through to fitting the final sanitaryware and taps, the whole plumbing scope was delivered by our team.
Every system was fully tested and commissioned before handover, from heat pump performance and hot water delivery to underfloor heating zones and final water pressure checks. The result is two buildings, each with its own efficient, renewable heating and hot water supply. Underfloor heating runs consistently throughout, and the whole plumbing installation is finished to the standard the project demanded.
Whatever the size of the job, we'd love to hear about it.
